Comfort-Led Care
Comfort comes first. We watch how each pet settles, handle grooming in stages, and adjust the session if the pet needs a break or a simpler scope.
Gentle grooming for puppies and pets that need a slower pace. We focus on comfort, clear communication, and realistic grooming goals.
Paws & Claws Studio is a neighborhood pet grooming studio in Porto Alegre focused on puppy grooming introductions and sensitive-pet care. Since 2020, we have worked with pets that are new to professional grooming, need extra time to settle, or benefit from a staged approach.
Every visit starts with a temperament and history inquiry, followed by quiet arrival, comfort assessment, and a grooming plan that matches your pet's needs on the day. If stress or welfare concerns appear, we may pause, shorten, or adjust the session.

A practical approach for puppies, anxious dogs, and pets new to professional grooming.
Comfort comes first. We watch how each pet settles, handle grooming in stages, and adjust the session if the pet needs a break or a simpler scope.
Clear communication matters. Before and after the visit, we explain what was practical, what needed extra attention, and how to care for the coat at home.
Some pets need gradual progress. Our staged grooming plans are designed to build familiarity over time, without promising that every concern will disappear.
We value honest handover notes and realistic recommendations. If the coat condition or handling limits the service, we explain the options plainly.
See ServicesBuilt for pets who do best with patience, short stages, and clear handover notes.
The studio was founded by Luana da Silva with a simple idea: grooming should feel manageable for puppies and for pets that are unsure about the process. That means preparing owners before the visit, keeping the environment calm, and setting expectations clearly.
Our services include puppy first grooming visits, grooming familiarization sessions, short comfort-led grooms, sensitive-pet bath and brush services, and staged grooming plans. We also share practical home coat-care notes so owners can support the next visit between appointments.
We do not promise a full haircut or a specific finish before the coat and handling scope are assessed. When needed, a shorter practical finish may be the safest option, especially if matting or stress would make a longer service uncomfortable.
