How Puppy Grooming Works Here

At Paws & Claws Studio, puppy and sensitive-pet grooming begins with a temperament and history inquiry. We ask about coat condition, home care, sensitivities, and what your pet is comfortable with before any grooming starts.

A first visit is usually a short introductory session with clear scope limits. It may include a quiet arrival, a comfort and handling assessment, and stage by stage grooming, but it does not promise a full haircut or every grooming step in one appointment.

Calm, staged care for young and sensitive pets

A gentle first visit can help a puppy get used to grooming without rushing the process.

If your pet becomes highly stressed, painful, reactive, or difficult to handle safely, the session may be shortened, paused, adjusted, or stopped. When coat condition makes a requested result impractical, a shorter practical finish may be recommended.

After the visit, we share clear handover notes and practical home coat-care guidance. Optional repeat-visit reminders can also help you keep a steady routine between appointments.
