Gentle Grooming for Puppies and Sensitive Pets
Our puppy first grooming visit is designed as an introduction, not a full groom. Sessions are kept short and practical, with a fixed scope that can be adjusted after we assess your pet's coat and comfort level.
For pets that are new to professional grooming or feel uneasy during handling, we use a step by step approach. If a pet shows significant stress, pain, aggression, breathing difficulty, or another welfare concern, the session may be paused, shortened, or stopped.
Calm visits, clear guidance, and care that respects each pet's comfort
Paws & Claws Studio offers short, staged grooming sessions for young and sensitive pets. Each visit begins with a careful check of temperament, coat condition, and handling comfort before any grooming starts.
When coat condition allows, we can work through a sensitive-pet bath and brush, a short comfort-led groom, or a staged grooming plan for repeat visits. If matting or coat condition makes a requested finish uncomfortable or unsafe, a shorter practical result may be recommended.
After the visit, we share clear handover notes and simple home coat-care guidance. Optional reminders can also help you plan the next appointment at a steady pace that suits your pet.
